SRT attends the concurrent event of the 2025 World Robot Conference - "Robot Technology Professional and Regional Industry Development Matchmaking Exchange Conference"

From August 8th to 12th, the 2025 World Robot Conference will grandly kick off at the Beijing Economic and Technological Development Zone Beiren Yichuang International Convention and Exhibition Center. As an important concurrent event of the 2025 World Robot Conference, the "Robot Technology Professional and Regional Industry Development Matchmaking and Exchange Activity" hosted by Beijing Vocational University of Science and Technology was successfully held in Zhongguancun (Yizhuang) International Robot Industry Park.


The event focuses on core topics such as the construction of robotics technology majors, talent cultivation, and industry demand docking. Multiple experts from different industry clusters were invited to share their practical and innovative ideas and measures on the integration of robotics technology majors with regional industrial development. Zhao Xin, Chairman of SRT Soft Robotics, was invited to attend and deliver a keynote speech titled "Innovation driven, Promoting the Application and Industrialization of High tech Achievements in Robotics under the Background of New Quality Productivity", which deeply elaborated on how soft robots can promote the development of new quality productivity with high technology, high efficiency, and high quality.


Chairman Zhao Xin introduced the breakthroughs in software biomimetic technology, software robot products, and industry solutions and expansion from the three characteristics of "high technology, high efficiency, and high quality" of new quality productivity, demonstrating how the company can improve production efficiency and ultimately solve the reshaping of the entire industry value chain through technological breakthroughs in the process of transforming technological achievements. At present, SRT, relying on software biomimetic technology, has been transformed into flexible end effectors in the industrial field, which have successfully solved the problem of grasping and transporting irregular and vulnerable items in production and manufacturing scenarios. Next, the company will integrate electronic skin and perception technology to achieve industrial substitution for complex human hand labor.

All of the company's businesses are centered around flexible end effectors, which are paired with related components to form workstations with process functions. These workstations are then connected in series to ultimately build an integrated industry solution that directly solves practical problems at the customer's production site. At present, the company has deeply laid out in three major industries: hardware, semiconductor, and food.

Finally, Chairman Zhao Xin shared the core experience of enterprise management: SRT, as an enterprise that starts from core components, needs to be promoted in three steps to meet the needs of end customers - the first step is to improve the development of core component functions and strengthen product supporting capabilities; The second step is to deeply integrate the customer's industrial production process and accurately solve production process problems; The third step is to create a full process solution and overcome the pain points of factory operation management. By constructing a complete closed loop for the transformation of scientific and technological achievements through these three steps, the commercialization of technology can be achieved.


Wang Wei, President of Beijing University of Science and Technology, pointed out at the meeting that as the first public vocational undergraduate school in Beijing, the school has always adhered to keeping pace with the times and resonating with the industry, cultivating a large number of high skilled talents for the country. The school actively builds a new ecosystem for talent cultivation in the robotics industry, and collaborates with Beijing Soft Robot Technology Co., Ltd. to conduct joint training for on-site robot engineers, forming a robot design innovation team.


Zheng Limei, Director of the Development Center for Mechanical Industry Education, delivered a keynote report titled "Reflections on the Integration of Industry and Education in the New Quality Productivity Robot Industry".


In addition, the forum invited experts from top vocational colleges in the field of robotics in China, such as Shenzhen Vocational and Technical University, Wuxi Vocational and Technical University, Beijing University of Science and Technology, Guangdong Vocational and Technical University of Light Industry, Tangshan Industrial Vocational and Technical University, and Chang Electromechanical Vocational and Technical College, to provide suggestions for the development of the robotics industry in the Yangtze River Delta, Greater Bay Area, and Beijing Tianjin Hebei region.
