Recently, a delegation of 29 members from the Industrialists' Federation of Vicenza, Italy, visited Beijing Soft Robot Technology Co., Ltd. (referred to as "SRT"). They engaged in in-depth discussions on soft robot technology, artificial intelligence integration, innovative material research and development, and cross-domain applications. This visit was organized by the Italian side of the China-Italy Entrepreneurs Committee, with the introduction of the China Machinery Products Import and Export Association and Beijing Yizhuang International Investment Development Co., Ltd. The aim was to promote practical cooperation between China and Italy in the fields of high-end manufacturing and technological innovation.
As one of the largest and most influential industrial associations in Italy, the Industrialists' Federation of Vicenza (Confindustria Vicenza) has over 150,000 member enterprises, and its branch, the Industrialists' Federation of Vicenza, has over 1,600 member enterprises, covering multiple industrial fields such as mechanical manufacturing, new materials, and automation systems. It has significant influence in international economic and trade cooperation. This visit was led by Ms. Barbara Beltrame Giacomello, the president of the Federation, and representatives from the Italian Trade Office, the Italian Embassy, and the International Exchange and Cooperation Department of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade accompanied the delegation. This fully demonstrated the recognition of the international industrial community for SRT's technical strength and industry position.
During the exchange, SRT systematically introduced the breakthrough progress of the company in the full-chain technology of soft robots, including the design of flexible end-effectors, bionic structure control, AI visual integration systems, and mature solutions in medical, food, and service robots, etc. SRT further shared the cutting-edge explorations in coupled flexible configurations, intelligent material modification, nonlinear simulation and control large models, demonstrating the future technology route from flexible end-effectors to artificial muscles and electronic skin as the core, as well as the system capabilities for achieving "the last centimeter" flexible grasping and intelligent production line implementation in industrial automation, semiconductors, agriculture, food, and small hardware manufacturing scenarios. The delegation showed great interest in SRT's independent innovation capabilities in robot automation and intelligent equipment, especially in the technical advantages demonstrated in high-precision grasping and human-machine collaborative operations scenarios.
SRT has always been committed to promoting industrial upgrading through technological innovation and has established a complete technical ecosystem from core components, equipment workstations to scenario empowerment. Through continuous iterations of soft-biologic technology, pneumatic/electrical integration, and multi-modal perception, SRT is gradually advancing the full-chain technical loop of soft robots from "technology base - solution construction - ecosystem empowerment", and achieving industrialization breakthroughs in the entire chain of research, production, and application worldwide. The company adopts a modular, configurable, and digital development concept, promoting the large-scale application of soft robots in intelligent manufacturing, rehabilitation medicine, vocational education, and new service scenarios, and continuously strengthening its global technical service and collaborative R&D capabilities.
This visit was not only a high-level dialogue in the manufacturing field between China and Italy, but also an important step for SRT's technology to go to the international stage and empower local innovation with global wisdom. In the future, SRT will continue to adhere to technology-driven and open cooperation, deeply integrate international front-line insights with local industrial demands, continuously expand global technical service capabilities, and inject new momentum into the development of global industrial automation and intelligent manufacturing.
