In the manufacturing and processing industry, discrete manufacturing companies are characterized by small batches, many product varieties and large variations in orders. Due to the different requirements of different processing batches, specific grippers need to be customized in each case, leading to poor versatility and waste of resources.
SRT's flexible gripper consists of a flexible finger module, a stand and a robot arm connection. For different shapes and sizes of workpieces, different types of finger modules can be selected, which can be reasonably matched with the suitable holder to flexibly grip and place the object.
The spacing between the fingers can be adjusted within the range of the holder, allowing for different workpiece layouts. In the case of larger workpieces, longer stands can be selected for multi-finger installation and adjustment, greatly increasing the applicability of the grippers in actual production, eliminating the need for frequent device changes and making one " gripper " compatible with a wide range of products.
The engineer can simply call up the corresponding finger module according to the machining requirements of the workpiece to enable gripping of the workpiece. This not only shortens the cycle time for the design and manufacture of grippers, but also improves machining accuracy and reduces production costs.
