This is the seminar schedule from Wuchang Wenli College for observing and learning about SRT’s Smart Interactive Robot Tea Art Display Platform.
In October 2023, SRT launched a new round of university seminar month activities. Over the three days from October 23 to 25, SRT visited Wuchang University of Technology, Wuhan University of Arts and Sciences, and Wuchang Institute of Technology, bringing soft robotics technology and applications to campus. The seminars helped students shift from “classroom theory” to “hands-on participation,” promoted positive school-enterprise interaction, and provided favorable pathways for the cultivation of skilled talent.
During the seminar session on soft robotics technology and applications, SRT’s lead instructors provided in-depth explanations of the Smart Interactive Robot Tea Art Display Platform, covering its movements, principle breakdowns, and technical applications, helping the students on site deepen their understanding of soft robotics technology. Moreover, this face-to-face communication not only broadened students’ perspectives on future career planning but also helped professional teachers continuously innovate and improve student skills training, injecting fresh energy into vocational education.
The modernization of vocational education is an important part of Chinese-style modernization. For higher vocational colleges, facing the demands of new technologies and new industrial development, how to adjust and optimize their program offerings and talent cultivation models to produce more high-quality technical and skilled talent is a critical issue in their current transformation and upgrading.
In recent years, SRT has actively leveraged its integration advantages in industry-education integration within vocational education, promoting precise alignment between enterprise needs and talent cultivation in higher vocational colleges. The company has “moved” real-world case applications into on-campus training laboratories, establishing a teaching model that combines theory with practice through hands-on learning, enabling students to develop their professional and technical skills right on campus. Through years of accumulation, SRT has developed a full range of practical teaching products for intelligent manufacturing fields including robotics, automatic control, digital twins, and industrial internet.
In addition, SRT has deepened the teaching philosophy of “promoting teaching, research, reform, and construction through competitions” by hosting vocational skills competitions. These competitions serve as training platforms for students, effectively helping them assess their knowledge application skills and professional competence, ultimately preparing them for on-the-job practice before graduation.
Today, SRT has been officially approved to participate in the Ministry of Education’s Industry-Academia Collaboration and Education Synergy Project in the key supported area of intelligent manufacturing equipment, and has been selected as a “First Batch of Enterprises for the Special Training Program for On-Site Engineers in Vocational Education.” Going forward, in addition to regularly organizing various skills competitions and industry-education integration projects, SRT will further collaborate with universities and colleges on scientific research, facilitate collaborative innovation in key technologies and core processes, and accelerate the transformation of research outcomes into industrial applications.
