New Product Launch | SRT’s Valfar Exhibits Domestically Developed Wafer Core Components at CSEAC 2024

In 2024, a wave of new quality productive forces is surging. As a comprehensive innovation enterprise driven by R&D and built on soft robotics technology, SRT is advancing toward the “new” by accelerating the development of a multi-scenario application system across various fields. If the Shanghai CIIF, which opened on September 24, serves as the main venue for SRT to discuss the great future powered by new quality with the global industrial community, then the 12th Semiconductor Equipment and Core Components Exhibition (hereinafter referred to as CSEAC 2024) held in Wuxi is SRT’s parallel venue.

On September 25, Valfar (WFR), a subsidiary of SRT, unveiled its domestically developed wafer transfer core components display platform at CSEAC 2024. With a continuous drive for independent innovation, Valfar (WFR) wrote a new chapter in the “evolution” of domestic semiconductor equipment, attracting widespread attention from both industry and beyond. In addition to comprehensively showcasing its latest technological achievements in semiconductor equipment manufacturing, Valfar (WFR) also launched two disruptive new products, adding new options for the upgrading and development of the semiconductor industry chain.

In recent years, the localization of semiconductor equipment has entered a phase of comprehensive acceleration. As a specialized exhibition in China’s semiconductor industry focusing on “Equipment and Core Components,” CSEAC brings together renowned domestic and international companies, providing an excellent exchange platform for numerous semiconductor equipment/component enterprises to showcase new products and development trends.

Valfar (WFR), a subsidiary of SRT, is a next‑generation enterprise in the field of intelligent manufacturing within the semiconductor sector. Equipped with a technical team of seasoned professionals (many with over 10 years of experience), Valfar (WFR) positions itself as a “professional manufacturer of process equipment for the semiconductor industry.” The company is dedicated to the domestic substitution of high‑end imported equipment and resolving “bottleneck” challenges through technological innovation. This commitment has not only earned positive customer feedback but also demonstrated its distinct technical strengths.

At this exhibition, Valfar (WFR) has built a bridge for communication through its “Fully Domestic Wafer Transfer Core Components Display Platform” — a result of five major independently developed semiconductor technologies. On the one hand, it reshapes the customer experience through technology‑enabled solutions, bringing customers entirely new products that break industry boundaries. On the other hand, Valfar (WFR) hopes to collaborate with equipment manufacturers, technology R&D institutions, and industry elites to explore future trends and cooperation opportunities in semiconductor technology, jointly promoting technological exchange and industrial upgrading within China’s semiconductor industry.

At this exhibition, Valfar (WFR) launched a newly developed robot arm precision demonstration platform and a single-arm dual‑fork SCARA wafer robot display platform. The wafer handling robot is a specialized robot developed by Valfar (WFR) for semiconductor wafer transfer, featuring fully independent intellectual property rights and certified to SEMI S2 standards. Notably, the wafer handling robot achieves a repeatability accuracy of ±15 μm, far exceeding the industry average. When paired with Valfar (WFR)’s self‑designed end effectors, it enables reliable transfer of wafers with various materials and thicknesses up to 300 mm.

The successful launch of these two new products marks an expansion of Valfar (WFR)’s product portfolio. On its path to focusing on the domestic substitution of high‑end imported equipment, Valfar (WFR) has consistently invested heavily in R&D and actively pursued collaboration to break down technological bottlenecks in the industry chain and empower customer value. Valfar (WFR) has always regarded R&D as the core driving force behind its development. To date, its self‑developed product portfolio has covered wafer handling‑related equipment such as LoadPort, Robot, Aligner, Sorter, and EFEM, as well as back‑end process equipment including roller film lamination, vacuum film lamination (including Taiko), ultra‑thin wafer de‑film (including Taiko), UV debonding, and dicing.

At the same time, Valfar (WFR) also exhibited its EFEM AEW6000 series, Sorter ASW6000 series, and a display platform for core components of wafer transfer systems at the exhibition, demonstrating to industry peers the strength of domestic capabilities in this new phase of semiconductor industry development.

SRT is a global technology group with a complete set of full‑chain key technologies in soft robotics, machine vision AI, intelligent logistics warehousing systems based on automation and IoT, semiconductor‑related process technologies, and rehabilitation systems that integrate soft pneumatic muscles with rehabilitation medicine theory. As CSEAC 2024 continues, many visitors and potential partners have shown strong interest and a willingness to collaborate. Leveraging the strong resource advantages and multi‑domain synergy provided by SRT, Valfar (WFR) hopes to seize this opportunity to work together with industry peers to accelerate the rise of the domestic semiconductor industry chain. At the same time, the company will continue to explore market demand, enhance its business scale and competitiveness in the semiconductor field, and provide a continuous stream of innovation momentum for the development of new quality productive forces.
